Brace for wind, power outages Friday in Albany area, meteorologists say

Winds powerful enough to knock out the lights could hit the Capital Region on Friday. Gusts hitting 60 mph could down trees and power lines, the National Weather Service in Albany said. The wind is expected to be heaviest between 2 and 8 p.m.
