Bank receives $2m for affordable housing

AlbanyM&T Bank has received more than $2 million in federal grants to support affordable housing projects in Schenectady, Troy and Albany.Funds from the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York Affordable Housing Program will provide $2 million for an 85-unit project in Schenectady's Hamilton Hill neighborhood, and $90,000 for construction of six townhomes by Capital District Habitat for Humanity in Albany and Troy.
