Albany Training Academy expansion under way

Excavation work has begun on the grounds of the Albany Training Academy for a $39.4 millionexpansion project that would include three new buildings and expanded surface parking.The project, which caught many residents in the Normans Kill neighborhood by surprise, has drawn some criticism from those neighbors, who said they're concerned about the loss of green space.
