Albany Housing seeks developer to help move Lincoln tower demos forward

ALBANY - Money to demolish the remaining public housing towers around Lincoln Park has long been sought after, but the Albany Housing Authority has had little success.The housing authority now aims to find developers who would build mixed-use structures in Lincoln Square so that officials have an economic development plan to present when seeking funding to demolish the three remaining towers along Morton Avenue and the corner of Grand and Warren streets.
