Albany Fire Department seeks funds to replace 'old and rusty' emergency vehicles

ALBANY - Rusty, old, constantly breaking down and a safety issue. That's how the Union President of the city's fire department described eight of their emergency vehicles.The Albany Fire Department is seeking the Common Council Finance Committee to approve the funding, of about $1 million, so they can replace these eight vehicles that firefighters use most days.
