Albany Dems' choice for County Court: Ackerman

ALBANY — Albany County Democrats have unanimously endorsed Cohoes City Court Judge Andra Ackerman as their candidate to fill a vacancy in County Court next year.If elected, the 47-year-old would become the first woman to hold the position.The Albany County Democratic Committee picked Ackerman following recommendations from its law and executive committees, according to party chair Jack Flynn.
