Albany Dems are poised to pick new majority leader

ALBANY - A band of Democrats are poised to caucus Thursday evening to potentially elect a new majority leader in the Albany County Legislature.The slated 6 p.m. caucus comes less than two weeks after county lawmakers elected a new legislative chairman, Andrew Joyce, to the leadership seat - removing Green Island Democrat Sean Ward from the post.
