Albany deep freeze giving way to temperatures in 40s

ALBANY - As the final hours of intense cold hang over the region, a number of schools were delaying the start of classes.The thermostat sat at 1 degree Tuesday morning but forecasters say it is expected to rise into the mid-20s during the day.
