Albany County considering ban on single-use plastic bags

Albany County wants to join a growing number of governments across the state and country in banning single-use plastic bags to reduce the amount of plastic that winds up in oceans and landfills.Local Law "D," recently introduced in the county legislature, will be debated by lawmakers in committee with public hearings on the proposal to follow.
