Alaant survey shows hiring workers has become historic challenge

As Capital Region workers return to the offices and businesses start hiring as pandemic restrictions go away, companies are facing a historic challenge finding qualified job candidates, the latest Alaant Workforce Solutions hiring survey found.Seventy-eight percent of the 98 local human resource managers surveyed last month by Alaant said hiring is challenging or a "significant" challenge - up from 55 percent last fall.
