Report: LaToya Cantrell's executive counsel ineligible to practice law

One of Mayor LaToya Cantrell's top two lawyers could be in violation of Bar Association rules if he provides her with legal advice.  Clifton Davis III has been ineligible to practice law since the end of June because he failed to complete continuing legal education, according to a report by our partners NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.  Cantrell's spokesperson said Davis was unaware of his ineligibility until last week, and expects to clear up the matter this week.  Co...
