Do you remember Peristyle? A lost New Orleans restaurant

The first chef at Peristyle was John Neal, who opened the restaurant on North Rampart Street in 1992 after he left the Bistro at Maison de Ville. Three years later, Neal died at the age of 38. His 27-year-old sous chef, Anne Kearney , borrowed money from her mentor, Emeril Lagasse, and bought the restaurant in a historic corner space.
