New: Pedestrian hurt in Southwest crash

A woman was seriously hurt late Tuesday night when she was struck by a vehicle in the 700 block of 86th SW. No details of the accident were available, but 86th from Tower to San Ygnacio SW is shut down in both directions. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
