Blizzard Buried Some Dairy Cows in the Snow; 35,000 Die

More than 35,000 dairy cows died after a two-day storm hit West Texas and New Mexico on Dec. 26, leaving farmers unable to reach them amid gusts of 80 miles per hour and 14-foot snow drifts.
