APD: Pedestrian critical after hit-and-run

Officers are investigating after a vehicle hit a pedestrian and fled the scene at Central and Juan Tabo, according to a police department spokesman. “The pedestrian was taken to UNMH and is considered in critical condition,” said officer Daren DeAguero. Eastbound Central is closed between Shirley and Juan Tabo while officers investigate, DeAguero said.
