Wild Horse and Burro Expo at Douglas fairgrounds this weekend

Wild horses and burros will show off their new talents in an effort to be adopted at the annual Western States Wild Horse and Burro Expo Friday-Sunday. The expo includes horsemanship events all weekend, an ultimate horse challenge, silent auction, vendor booths and inmate trained horse and burro demonstrations. The event will be held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Gardnerville. The purpose of the expo is to educate and inform the public about the work the Bureau of Land Management is doin
