Whittemore finish sentence in San Francisco halfway house

RENO — A former Reno developer and lobbyist has left prison and will spend the rest of his sentence for making illegal campaign contributions in a San Francisco halfway house. Harvey Whittemore was sent to prison in 2014 for making excessive campaign contributions and making contributions in the name of another.
