Vegas case supporting tax repeal moved to Carson City

A court case supporting the repeal of a $1.1 billion Nevada tax package is being moved from Las Vegas to Carson City. Clark County Judge Jerry Wiese approved the change of venue on Tuesday. Lawyer Matt Griffin, who’s defending the tax package, said he believes Nevada law is clear that cases related to ballot measures belong in Carson City.
