Two killed in single-engine plane crash in South Lake Tahoe (updated)

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — A small plane crashed around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, in a South Lake Tahoe neighborhood near Pioneer Trail and the Lake Tahoe Airport. Officials on scene reported two fatalities. Both were in the plane at the time of the crash. No one on the ground was injured.The crash site is located at 1650 Tionontati Street.
