Tip a Cop fundraiser for Special Olympics Thursday at Carson City Applebee’s

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the Tip a Cop fundraiser to raise money for the Special Olympics.The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday for lunch and 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday for dinner at the Carson Street Applebee’s.The mission of the Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competitions in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellecual disabilities.
