State unemployment rate below 7 percent for first time since 2008

Nevada’s unemployment rate fell below 7 percent for the first time since June 2008. Both the seasonally adjusted and raw rates ended November at 6.9 percent with less than 100,000 Nevadans looking for work in a pool of nearly 1.4 million workers.
