Silver City hosting art, writing workshops by award-winning artist Scott MacLeod

An Oakland, Calif., artist is visiting Silver City to help build a found-object model of a ship using driftwood, rusted iron, fishing poles, wire, salvaged wood and other materials. Scott MacLeod, an artist and writer, is leading the free art workshop Wednesdays through April 27 at the Silver City Schoolhouse. Anyone who would like to help build the ship can drop by.
