Senator Square: Carson High School student excels in speech & debate contest

Carson High Speech and Debate captain Sawyer Barnett competed in the second level of the American Legion speaking contest at Western Nevada College last Sunday. He took first place with his speeches on the duties of citizens to the government according to the Constitution and the importance of the Eighth Amendment.
