Sen. Reid gearing up for 2016 run

RENO — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is batting down speculation that he won’t run for re-election in 2016. The 75-year-old Nevada Democrat told a Reno newspaper he’s running and plans to start interviewing candidates for his campaign staff in February.
