Report: Carson City’s Adam Whitt signs with Houston Astros

A day after saying on Twitter that he was headed to Florida, Carson City’s Adam Whitt has apparently signed with the Houston Astros.The University of Nevada pitcher was drafted in the 16th round (469th overall) by the Houston Astros last week and reportedly signed Monday with the Astros KRNV reported. Whitt did not comment about signing and the Astors didn’t release any information. Whitt, who compiled a 2-2 record with a school-record 14 saves and a 2.82 ERA, will report to the Astros’ Sh
