Prom night extra special for two seniors from Basic Academy

Two special ed students, Blake Hernandez and Larissa Evans, were among the Basic Academy of International Studies couples to attend the senior prom. If that wasn’t exciting enough, the two were named prom king and queen, renewing a past tradition at the school of selecting special ed students for the honor.
