Prep roundup: Shine, Rivera win titles

VISALIA, Calif. — Led by champions Nolan Shine and Brady Rivera, Carson High finished in third place at the annual Redwood Invitational at Redwood High School. Shine (160) and Rivera (220) each went 4-0 en route to individual titles. “Shine dominated his guy in the finals,” CHS coach Paul Carter said. “Brady beat a real tough kid from Clovis in the finals (4-2). He wrestled a darn good match.�
