Carson High’s Taylor Saarem made a strong charge at a semifinal berth before falling in the quarterfinals in boys singles at the Northern Division I Championships.Also for Carson, Danny Dudley and Nico Salm in boys doubles and Anya Woodbury made the quarterfinals.Saarem lost to Damonte Ranch’s Natale Castelli 7-5, 4-6, 1-6 in the quarterfinals.
