SPARKS — Carson High’s girls tennis squad opened the season with a 14-4 win over Spanish Springs in a Division I match Thursday afternoon.The doubles tandem of Amanda Schulz and Mikaela Asby went 3-0, the only CHS players to win three sets.Elise Brady and Heather Lamotte were 2-0 as were Emily McCaskill and Nancy Henrickson.Anya Woodbury went 2-0 in singles, while Emma Breeding and Shaylin Segura went 2-1 in singles.Carson hosts Damonte Ranch next Tuesday at 3 p.m.CHS boys lose 10-8i
