Outdoor Afro demonstrates that nature is for everyone

A new local meet-up group is challenging an old stereotype that black people don’t like the great outdoors. Outdoor Afro, which is part of a nationwide advocacy group, sets up hikes, camping trips and other outings designed to connect African Americans to the natural world.
