March 5, 1951Assembly OKs voting age billThe Assembly, by a 29-13 vote, today passed a resolution proposing amendment of the Nevada Constitution to lower the legal voting age 21 to 19. The Assembly two weeks ago defeated the same measure, which at that time called for lowering the voting age to 18. It now goes to the Senate.
