NDOT adding lane from Eastlake to southbound 395 in north Carson

The Nevada Department of Transportation is adding an extra merge lane connecting Eastlake Boulevard to southbound I-580/U.S.395 at the north end of Carson City.NDOT officials said motorists should expect some lane closures during the construction period.The work is part of a larger project to repave the old road surface and seismically retrofit bridges through Washoe Valley.
