Mistrial declared in Jody Arias’ sentencing retrial

PHOENIX — A jury in Phoenix said on Thursday it had failed to reach a verdict in the sentencing phase retrial of convicted murderer Jodi Arias, meaning the former waitress from California will not be executed for killing her ex-boyfriend in 2008.
