Lyon County experiences flash flooding over Fourth of July weekend

Lyon County experienced heavy rainfall over the holiday weekend which caused flash flooding throughout the county.Areas impacted include: Smith Valley: Upper Colony Road was impacted with mud flows. Public Works crews were able to make the road passable Sunday night and will continue to work on clearing the road today.
