Lane closures expected on USA Parkway during construction

The Nevada Department of Corrections is advising drivers to expect periodic lane closures because of construction on USA Parkway.A spokesman said the contractor is beginning heavy construction to improve and extend the roadway that currently goes from Interstate 80 into the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. The project will extend the road all the way to U.S. 50 in Dayton.The single-lane closures will continue through the end of the year on weekdays as crews install guardrail, grade roadside slopes
