Lake Mead water levels, records continue to fall

Mead briefly dropped to a new low water mark between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, when pelting rain couldn’t stop the surface of the lake from falling to 1,080.18 feet above sea level for the first time since it was first being filled in May 1937.
