Holiday with a Hero Holiday Crawl set for Dec. 5

Carson City will be crawling with holiday cheer for a good cause on Dec. 5.Carson City public safety officers are hosting a Holiday Crawl from 6-11 p.m., to raise funds for Holiday with a Hero. Holiday with a Hero is an event, happening Dec. 16, in which local public safety officers take Carson City students in the McKinney-Vento Students in Transition program shopping for Christmas presents.Volunteers wrap the presents so the students have gifts to unwrap during the holidays.
