Grandmother calls for changes to child abuse hotline

Before two of her grandchildren died while in the care of their meth-addicted mother, Mary Lafia called in multiple reports to the Clark County Department of Family Services’ child abuse hotline. The children died in a 2012 fire and the grandmother says the county bears a share of the blame.
