Governor signs education bills, declares state ‘at the bottom no more’

Gov. Brian Sandoval visited Las Vegas schools Wednesday to sign education bills passed at the close of the 2015 legislative session as part of his education reform package. The three measures will provide more than $100 million to schools for programs such as literacy, pre-kindergarten and professional development for teachers.
