FluMist vaccine available Nov. 16

After a long delay due to the manufacturer, Carson City Health and Human Services is happy to announce the FluMist nasal spray vaccine is now available at the Carson City and Douglas County clinics.FluMist protects against four strains of the flu virus and can be used for ages 2 to 49. Rates for the vaccine are affordable and Medicaid, Nevada Check Up and most private insurances are accepted.
