False bomb threat shuts down area near Sunday’s Academy Awards

A bomb scare, which later turned out to be false, shut down the busy intersection of Hollywood & Highland for more than two hours on Thursday. The incident took place just steps away from the Dolby Theater, home to Sunday’s Academy Awards.
