Custom airplane makes emergency landing near Fernley

FERNLEY — A married couple was forced to make an emergency landing in their small custom airplane along U.S. 95 near Fernley. The Reno Gazette-Journal reports the pair were traveling from Wisconsin to California in a custom Marquart MA-6 Charger. They stopped in Elko and then in Winnemucca for fuel.
