Crash at Nye and Carson sends two to hospital

An 11-year-old girl was transported to the hospital Thursday evening after a two-vehicle crash.Carson City Sheriff’s deputies said a silver 4-door sedan was coming across east Nye Lane when a red pick-up truck traveling northbound on North Carson Street hit the sedan. The 11-year-old had to be extracted using the Jaws of Life from the sedan. The accident occurred around 7:20 p.m.The 11-year-old girl was transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
