Community Spotlight: Carson bowlers roll their way to easy win

Carson High’s bowling team opened the playoffs with a 42.5-2.5 win over Bishop Manogue last week.The tournament format is baker style, meaning there are three-person teams rotating through the 10 frames.The team of Dustin Floyd, Matt Hinton and Tyler Lethcoe rolled games of 199, 173, 196, 234, 213 and 149. Alec Fletcher, Connor Bell and Chris Bair rolled games of 254, 204, 200, 164, 224 and 224. Conlin Herrick, Matt Liddell and Luis Celedon combined for a 214, 142, 168, 187, 180 and 205.
