Community spotlight: Benefit golf tourney set for Eagle Valley

The Alyce McCracken Memorial Scramble for Scholarships golf tournament is scheduled for Sept. 10 at Eagle Valley at 8 a.m.The cost is $85 which includes lunch and prizes.Toyota Scions from the Campagni Auto Group will be awarded for aces at Nos. 8 and 12, $10,000 is the prize for an ace on No. 17, and an Applie iPad is the prize for an ace on No. 4.The tournament is being put on by the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors.
