Clark County School District breakup may erode bond rating

On the eve of a deadline to veto legislation that would split the Clark County School District into smaller pieces, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval indicated he first will consider concerns raised about the potential impact a breakup would have on the district’s ability to issue debt for new school construction.
