Citibank building in Carson City receives permit for makeover

Authorization for a complete makeover of the former downtown Citibank building came without dissent Wednesday from Carson City’s Planning Commission.Commissioners voted for a special use permit and variances that will allow the Hop and Mae Adams Foundation to add a floor to the gutted structure and renovate it for retailing, offices and apartments, as well as build two units and parking garages on an existing parking lot area. The building and parking area are at Curry and Telegraph street
