Carson City under flash flood watch Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a flash flood watch in advance of thunderstorms moving into the Sierra Nevada. The watch is in effect Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening for Carson City, Reno and the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. The watch extends from the California-Nevada line near Yosemite National Park to as far north as Susanville, California.
