Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on hit and run accident

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.MONDAYAt 2:48 p.m., Gissell Resendiz, 26, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run causing injury, failure to maintain travel lane and duty to render aid to vehicle accident after deputies responded to reports of a vehicle accident near Saliman Road and Long Street. Deputies found Resendiz near Rand Avenue and William Street after initiating a traffic stop.
