Carson City Library to remain open during construction, parking shifted

Library patrons may have difficulty accessing the parking lot over the next couple of months as the city constructs a new water main on Washington Street between Roop and Phillips streets. “Our driveway and Roop Street access may be blocked in the process,” said Sena Loyd, director of the Carson City Library. “The Carson City Community Center and Smith’s have both graciously offered to share their parking lots with us during those times.”According to a notice sent
